The New Orleans Garden Society invites you to be part of our annual fundraiser, Bewitching: Fleur de Gris Gris, an enchanting Halloween luncheon on Wednesday, October 22 at The Metairie Country Club. This spirited celebration of New Orleans folklore and floral flair will feature Krewe des Fleurs, entertainers McKenzie Knapps and Katelyn Chopin, local artists, and legendary characters like Jean Lafitte and the Rougarou—all in support of garden preservation and civic beauty.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, NOGS has spent over a century cultivating public green spaces and promoting horticultural education. From the Yellow Garden at Longue Vue to Art in Bloom and our Civic Award grants, your support helps us continue this legacy across our community.

We’re seeking donations of gift cards, services, or unique items for our silent auction and mystery drawing, guest favorites each year. Donors will be recognized in the event program, auction signage, and on social media—and will receive a written acknowledgment for tax purposes.

Click here for a donation form with more information. To arrange pickup or ask questions, please contact Amy Carbonette Cioll at (504) 655-2727 or alcarbonette@msn.com.

Thank you for helping us keep New Orleans blooming—with a little gris gris magic.

With blossoming gratitude,
Ember Mandell
